Shattuck Hill Road is located 6 miles from Green Mt. Horse Association, and connects to miles of riding and hiking trails in the Woodstock Area. We are horse owners and dedicated trail riders and hikers and this wonderful cottage provides a perfect place for any activity. We are 12 miles from Woodstock Vermont, 1/2 hour from Dartmouth, and near many excellent ski areas. A great place for quiet time, or any activity you are interested in.

In the heart of horse country we have fenced pasture, and are directly on the dirt roads and trails. You can ride, ski, hike, snowshoe, or antique. Anything you like.
​Historic Woodstock village is a wonderful place to spend a day. Art galleries, shops, restaurants, Billings Farm, are a few of the local attractions.

This cozy cottage on twelve acres in Brownsville is perfect for horses and riders, hikers, skiers and anyone wanting to relax and enjoy the quiet country roads of Vermont. The cottage is on the VAST trail network and in a perfect location for riding on Class 3 roads or cross country.
If you are any kind of outdoor enthusiast---this is heaven--no better horseback riding, mountain biking, hiking country in the state of Vermont. We are five miles from Green Mountain Horse Association if you would like to watch or compete in equestrian events each weekend. The mountain biking trail network runs right to our door. If you are into hiking the Mt. Ascutney trails are challenging and well marked and have gorgeous views. We are also within 40 minutes from Suicide Six and Okemo for excellent skiing. There is great antiquing in the area and fabulous restaurants. You'll never want to go home!
